Now Showing: Eras of Legends

Hundreds of players and coaches have worn the Sounders crests over the last 52 years, and millions of fans have flocked to various stadiums to cheer them on. To stitch together the multitudes and those decades of stories, Brian Schmetzer welcomed to the stage 16 past and current Sounders for a full 90 minutes of story time. It was billed as Eras of Legends: The Continuing Story of Seattle Sounders FC and took place Nov. 18, 2025.

It was truly an evening to remember as we celebrated our rich and colorful history – and it’s now available on our YouTube channel.

Whether you attended or not, you definitely will want to watch this night of festive fun amongst our greater Sounders family. All that’s missing is the pre-event socializing, great food and, of course, the limited-time pouring of Georgetown Brewing’s Schmetzhaus IPA. But maybe you can join WA Legends for our 2026 event; we should have more news on that this spring.
